These terms and conditions (the “Terms and Conditions”) govern the use of www.foodsafetysolutions.ca (the “Site”). This Site is owned and operated by Food Safety Solutions (Alberta) Inc. This Site is an ecommerce website.

By using this site, you indicate that you have read and understand the Terms and Conditions and agree to abide by them at all times.

Intellectual Property

All content published on our Site is the property of COMPANy and the Site’s creators. This includes, but is not limited to, images, text, logos, documents, donwloadble files and anything that contributes ot the composition of our Site.

Sale of Goods and Services

These Terms and Conditions govern the sale of goods and services available on our Site including: food safety manuals and templates, digital training course, instructor led training courses, label review services and food safety consulting. Goods and services must be paid for in full when ordered.

These Terms and Conditions apply to all the goods and services that are displayed on our Site at the time you access it. This includes all the products listed as being out of stock. All information, descriptions or images that we provide about our goods and services are as accurate as possible. However we are not legally bound by such information, descriptions or images as we cannot guarantee the accuracy of all goods and services we provide. You agree to purchase the gods and services from our Site at your own risk.

We reserve the right to modify, reject or cancel your order whenever it becomes necessary. If you cancel your order and you have already processed your payment, you will be given a refund equal to the amount you paid, minus the cancellation fee as determined for the service or product being purchased. You agree that it is your responsibility to monitor your payment instrument to very receipt of any refund.

Warranty and Liability

Food Safety Solutions (Alberta) Inc. makes no warranties, express or implied, as to any matter whatsoever including, without limitation, the condition of the work or any invention(s), result(s), or product(s), whether tangible or intangible, conceived, discovered, or developed under this Agreement, or the ownership, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose of the work described herein or any such invention or product. The purchase of any goods or services does not guarantee the granting of licenses or certification. Implementation of a successful food safety and quality management system is contingent upon the understanding of the requirements, completion and implementation of the requirements by the buyer.

Template Manuals

The purchase of any template manual includes two (2) free hours of consulting on the requirements of the associated template manual. It is the responsibility of the buyer to contact Food Safety Solutions (Alberta) Inc. in order to receive these included services. Consulting outside of the included hours will be billed to the buyer at the Food Safety Solutions (Alberta) Inc. consulting rate in place at the time of purchase. Consulting hours must be used within twelve (12) calendar months of the time of the manual purchase.

Limitation of Liability

Food Safety Solutions (Alberta) Inc. and our directors, officers, agents, employees, subsidiaries and affiliates will not be liable for any actions, claims, losses, damages, liabilities and expenses, including legal fees, from your use of the Site.

Indemnity

Except where prohibited by law, by using this Site you indemnify and hold harmless Food Safety Solutions (Alberta) Inc. and our directors, officers, agents, employees, subsidiaries and affiliates from any actions, claims, losses, damages, liabilities and expenses, including legal fees, from your use of the Site.

Links to Other Websites

Our Site contains links to third party website or services that we do not own or control. We are not responsible for the content, polices or practices of any third party website or service linked to on our Site.

Applicable Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta. If any provision(s) of this Agreement become invalid or ruled illegal or unenforceable by any court of competent jurisdiction or are deemed unenforceable under the current applicable law from time to time during the term thereof, the remainder of the Agreement shall not be affected thereby.

Changes

These Terms and Conditions may be amended from time to time in order to maintain compliance with the law and to reflect any changes to the way we operate our Site.
