Description

Starting in 2026, Canada will require Front-of-Package (FOP) nutrition labeling for prepackaged foods high in saturated fat, sugars, or sodium. This regulation aims to help consumers make informed choices by displaying a clear “High in” symbol on the front of the package when a product exceeds specific thresholds for these nutrients. Some foods, such as whole or single-ingredient items (e.g., raw meat and milk), are exempt.

We will help you:

  • determine if your products are required to have the new FOP symbol
  • review your label artwork for compliance with the new FOP regulations
  • choose the appropriate FOP nutrition symbol format for your product
