SFCR Preventive Controls Template Manual

This manual was prepared for small food processing operations that need to comply with the Safe Food for Canadians Regulations (SFCR).

The manual has 3 downloadable files:

1. Preventive Controls Procedures Manual
   • This document covers all the preventive controls required to be implemented.
   • The document is a fillable PDF, so you can download and fill it in electronically.
2. Forms/Records
   • This document includes templates for all records referenced within the Preventive Controls (PC) and PCP manuals.
   • This document is an Excel file, so you can go in and revise any records as needed (e.g. add equipment, remove items not in your facility, etc)
3. Preventive Control Plan (PCP) forms
   • This document includes the Preventive Control Plan required by CFIA.
   • The document is in Excel, so you can print it, and fill it in electronically.
